The Cloisters function suites come complete with outdoor terrace or lawn for your reception drinks, fixed bars in the suites, sound system, chequered black and white dance floor and a Grand Piano. Secure on-site parking is available at no extra cost.

 ZSL Whipsnade Zoo holds a Civil Ceremony license for up to 300 guests and has an experienced event team on hand for the whole process. Advice is available on everything from colour schemes and table centre-pieces through to menus, whilst official photographs can be taken within our beautiful parkland and with the animals!

 ZSL Whipsnade Zoo are delighted to be able to offer a unique venue for a Civil Partnership. Turn your special day into Wild Occasion. We can offer Champagne reception on arrival with the beautiful background of the Zoo and Chiltern Hills, followed by Seated Dinner or Buffet of your choice. Whilst the animals sleep the real party animals can dance the night away for a really unique day to remember.

 We are also able to accommodate Asian wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 400 guests seated. The room can be themed to suit your requirements by your choice of supplier. The kitchens are available for your use exclusively by accredited caterers.

 The Cloisters can accommodate up to 400 guests for a wedding ceremony and reception or a Barmitzvah. Our function spaces provide the perfect opportunity for creating the theme of your choice. Our outdoor terrace and lawn provide the ultimate space for fun activities for all the family. Menus can be designed to suit your requirements or you can bring your own Kosher Caterers. Our dance floor provides the perfect opportunity to show off your Israeli dancing skills and accommodate a DJ.
