Gorilla Talk

Gorilla Kingdom is home to four Western Lowland Gorillas – Bobby, Zaire, Effie and Jookie.

You might see Bobby relaxing in the sun or Effie foraging for food in the forest clearing. You’ll find out the ways in which their keepers cater to their natural intelligence, and learn about ZSL’s conservation work with wild gorillas in the forests of West Africa.

Get to know the gorillas up-close, from Bobby the 190kg silverback, to new arrival Jookie, a nine-year old female.
