The Greater London Authority is supporting state schools in the capital through funding free visits to London Zoo and subsidising ZSL’s new Outreach programme to schools.

It includes information about the sorts of things your class might encounter at the Zoo, as well as important points to consider about behaviour and courtesy when visiting.

Risk Assessment
Like all zoos and wildlife parks, we have to operate under the Zoo Licensing Act. We are subject to an annual inspection by enforcing officers, who look at the way we take care of our animals and the safety of visitors and staff. For more details visit our risk assessment page
