Turtle tracking donations

All donations will be used by our turtle conservation team to help us understand how turtles use the coastal areas of Mozambique.

£5 will pay for electronic tags to identify the nesting turtles and develop an understanding of the turtle lifecycle.

£10 will pay for the handbook that has been written by the turtle monitoring team to raise awareness about the importance of turtles and teach other communities about how to conduct their own turtle protection and monitoring.

£25 will pay for analysis of a genetic sample to determine the population groups.

£50 will pay the salary of the turtle monitor for a month.

£75 will pay for the resin to attach the satellite tag to the turtle.

£2,000 will pay for a Mozambican university student to participate in the Turtle conservation project and consequently build the future conservation capacity in Mozambique.

£5,000 will pay for a satellite tag and satellite time. Sponsor a tag and get to name the turtle.2 will pay for batteries for the torches used by the turtle monitors during their night patrols.
