Grevy’s zebra

Baby Zebra at Whipsnade © John O'Reilly

The Grevy’s zebra has much narrower stripes that the other two zebras and it can live on grasses which are too tough for cattle to eat or digest. This species has become rare due to hunting for its beautiful skin.
